Are you
afraid to get ripped off by a
fraudulent Credit Counseling
Company?
Let go of your fear!
I have constructed a list of 3
full proofs to selecting the best
credit counselor.
1) Research
Research a wide range of
different companies. Read about them
online. You can find reviews about
almost anything online. Use the
internet to your advantage.
You can also ask around. Ask your
friends and family if they have
heard anything about the company
that you are investigating.
Researching a company is one of
the absolute best ways to insure
your security. If nobody has ever
heard of a particular company and
you cannot find anything about them
online, you may want to move on to
the next available prospect.
2) Intuition
What better guide can you
possibly use than your intuition?
After you talk to a representative
of a certain credit counseling
company you will have a pretty good
idea about the level of honesty that
was conveyed in your interaction.
If you are present during your
conversation with the rep you will
be capable of gathering a good idea
of how much BS the person was trying
to feed you. Ask a lot of questions
and see how well and fluently the
person responds. If it sounds as if
the person is struggling for an
answer or making things up then
politely move on.
The key component of this aspect
is to TRUST YOURSELF! If it smells
like crap it most likely is crap.
3) ReferencesAsk for references
of current and past customers. Any
reputable credit counseling company
will have a solid list of references
for new or potential clients to
call. If they do not have references
or try to give you some BS line
about why they cannot issue a list
of references then it is time to x
that company out.
Once they give you references,
call them! Do not be afraid to
bother them. The people you were
given as references are on the list
because they have agreed to be on it
and take phone calls from people
inquiring about the company.
So there it is! You now have the
3 key elements in deciding upon a
solid and qualified Credit
Counseling Service. Do your due
diligence, trust your intuition, and
call their customers! Follow these
guidelines and you cannot fail.
My best regards in your search
for a debt firm.
